Game Configuration

Solitaire configurations can be edited by going to the "Solitaire 3 Configuration" notecard inside the game. The default configuration will have 1 setting per game type and will be set to Freeplay and L$0 for the pot. You will want to use the Solitaire Configuration Editor to create new settings. Moo Town Games does not provide advice for new settings. If you are unsure of your settings then you should set a conservative stop loss setting to prevent any large losses.

The configuration file is split into two parts, 1st is the game settings and 2nd is the additional settings. The game settings are settings that are specific to that gametype. The additional settings effect all game types.

Game Settings

It is highly recommended that you use the Configuration Editor to make game settings. The editor looks for errors in your configuration. The game does not look for mistakes when loading the config. However if you would like to setup your own settings manually, this is how they work:

Each game setting is a Comma Separated Value list (CSV) that looks like this:

Game,klondike,.05,20,1000,20,120,500,1000,0,0

The CSV is made up of 11 values. They are:

1) Game
This lets the machine know this is a game setting

2) Game Type
This is the name of the type of game you are setting up

3) % Per Card OR Payout Multiplier OR POT
Depending on the type of game you are setting up this will be one of the above.

4) Minimum Wager
The lowest amount a player can bet

5) Maximum Wager
The highest amount a player can bet

6 - 9) Pay Options
These are the amounts shown to the player as pay options when they pay the game. Setting one of these to 0 will hide that button.

10) Deals
The number of deals for the game. 0 = Unlimited

11) All Or Nothing Score To Beat
Used for freeplay and all or nothing games. This is the amount needed to win. 0 will make the game act as Pay per card.

To set a game as freeplay set values 4 though 9 to equal 0

Additional Settings

Stoploss :

The stoploss effect option gives you the option to disable a single game type vs the entire machine, if the top loss is triggered and this option is enabled, the gametype that triggered the stop loss will be shut down. This also changes how the stop loss is determined. Using this option uses the profit amounts from the different game types, if this option is disabled the game will use the combined profit/loss of all game types to determine stop loss. (0 = disabled, 1 = enabled)

The Stoploss Others option allows you to have your other solitaire games stop or disable a game type (depending on the stoplosseffect setting) if this machine hits it's stoploss. This option works with games in the same region or within 96 meters. (0 = disabled, 1 = enabled)

The stop loss option will stop the game if the loss is greater than the amount shown. For instance if you want to stop the game if you lose more than L$20,000 you would set the stop loss setting to 20000. Setting the stop loss to 0 will disable the stop loss feature. The game will not stop until the player is done playing their current game. NOTE: 2.1 games and newer use both a true profit and a 24 hour profit to determine stop loss values. If the profit of the game is less than the stop loss amount in a 24 hour time period it will stop.

Texture :

You can paste a texture UUID here that will be used for the backs of the cards. Make sure that there are no spaces before or after the texture UUID. Leave This option blank to use the default one. See the Deck Textures notecard in the game for some examples.

Messages :

The send messages to owner is for owners who do not want the instant messages sent to them when a player wins money from the game. If you do not wish to get this messages, set this option to 0, otherwise set it to 1.

Pay For Play :

Include In PayForPlay System If yes set this to 1, otherwise set it to 0.

API :

API Information used for third party addons, see Solitaire API Documentation for more information.
