Bomber

Boom Baby!

Bomber is like most Slingo type games in that the primary objective is to match numbers from the spinner along the bottom of the game to numbers on the board. The exciting part about Bomber is the ability to bomb your numbers away.

The main goal of Bomber is to change the color of the board from Green to Yellow and then from Yellow to Red.

You get massive bonuses for getting rid of all the green and then all the yellow spaces. That should always be your first priority.

No Greens Left =
10k Points, 3 extra rounds, and 2x scores for the rest of the game.

No Yellows Left =
20k Points, 5 extra rounds, and 3x scores for the rest of the game.

Starting The Game

Once you have located the game you want to play, pay the game to start. If the game is freeplay you must pay the game 1 Linden Dollar and it will be returned to you at the start of the game.

Playing

The board will fill with numbers which will all be on green backgrounds to start with.

As you complete rows the number backgrounds will begin to change to indicate how many times you have cleared a row containing that number. The first time you clear a row with a number it will turn yellow. The 2nd time it will turn red.

Rows are automatically filled with new numbers when they are cleared adding an additional challenge to the game. If you clear a row, go back and make sure any numbers you couldn't use before aren't now available for play.

If you manage clear all the numbers at least once you get a 10,000 point bonus and 3 extra rounds. Do it again and you get 20,000 points and 5 more extra rounds!

If there are no more green spaces on the board your scores will be doubled for the rest of the game and if there are no more yellow spaces (all red), your scores will be trippled!

Once all of the numbers are at least yellow, the spinner will turn yellow as well to show you have gained the bonus points. The same will happen if you manage to get the entire board red.

Precision Strikes can be used to clear any number above it.

Nuclear Strikes can be used to clear any number on the board and will also clear any number touching the one you choose.

Some Tips

Diagonals…
Avoid getting diagonal lines. They are like a plague in this game. When you get diagonal lines it adds a new number in every row and every column making it much harder to clear more lines.

Try to build horizontally…
When you clear a row across the board instead of up and down. You can go back and look at numbers you couldn't use before. You might get lucky and find that one of the new numbers for the row you just cleared is one of the ones you couldn't use at the start of the round.

Just because you can, does not mean you should…
Think before clearing rows. If your trying to get rid of 1 or 2 green spaces, you may not want to clear a row if its going to make it harder for you to clear the colors you need to advance.

Nukes…
Using nukes in corner spaces, or against the walls of the board rarely makes sense. The nukes will kill off up to 9 spaces. If the space you nuke only touches 3 or 6 spaces, then it will only nuke those spaces.

Winning

Bomber games can be configured in many ways, look at the text above the game to see details on how the game your playing is configured. Here are a few of the common ways...

Instant
To win instant games you need to beat the score listed on the top of the game.

Paytable (also known as Variable and Multipot)
Paytable games will pay you a percentage of your payin based on your score. You can touch any Paytable Bomber game and it will tell you the amounts in a menu.

Timed Payout
The winner will be the player who has the highest score when the time runs out. The payout time will be listed above the game.

Contest Only
Contest games are hooked up to a contest board and will payout based on the rules of that board. See the contest board for more information.

Challenge
In a challenge game, the first player plays the game. Then any other player may play and if that players score is higher they win the challenge, if its lower (or tied) then they lose and the first player wins.
