Backup Your Settings

Solitaire 3 and Solitaire 4 are NOT compatible. Please take a note of your settings before you upgrade and store them in a notecard or other location outside of the game. During the upgrade process your settings will be reverted back to the default settings for Solitaire 4. Once the upgrade process is done, there is no way to retrive your old settings.

Stop Any Games In Progress

The updater will not work correctly if a game is in progress at the time you start the upgrade. Doing so will result in the loss of a game or updater or both.

Make Sure The Game Is Online

The updater will not allow you to update a game which is offline becuase of a License error. If you have a License error, contact Paso Clip in-world and have it corrected before you update.

Solitaire 3 ONLY

Only games that are version 3.0 or higher may be updated to Solitaire 4. Moo Town Games' considers Solitaire 1.0 through 2.1 to be "End Of Life". Solitaire versions lower than 3.0 are not eligible for further updates.

Discountinued Games

Jackataire and Battle are no longer included as game types for the Solitaire Suite. If you own a non-commission copyable game and purchased one of these game types, please contact Paso Clip to discuss possible replacement game types.

Freecell Security Warning

Solitaire 4 includes Freecell Type Games as a game type which is free for all commission copyable and single pack owners. These games are easily winnable and there are websites which provide players with solutions for the games.

EVERY GAME OF FREECELL IS WINNABLE!

It is highly recommended that you provide these to your players as Freeplay or very low stakes games only.

This applies to ALL FREECELL TYPES. Including Baker's Game, Eight Off and Freecell.

Getting The Updaters

Solitaire 4 Updaters are available at the Moo Town Games Store in-world. Once you have located the update vendor, pay it L$1. Your 1 Linden will be refunded and you will be given the appropriate number of updaters. NOTE: If you have a copyable game, you will be given 1 updater with copy permissions.

Running The Update Process

Rez the updater near your exisiting game. Make sure you have done everything in the "before you upgrade" section above. Then click the updater to run the update. You may run more than one update at a time, however, we recommend that the games be at lease 2 meeters aprart from each other.
